ABOUT FIRST STEPS WELLNESS CENTRE
First Steps Wellness Centre Incorporated is a non-profit business operated by a volunteer Board of Directors. FSWC is focused on optimizing the health and independence of those living with a spinal cord injury. This centre will provide intense and consistent exercise-based recovery methods and wellness services through trained and dedicated staff and specialized fitness equipment. FSWC will be located in Regina, Saskatchewan and will be the first program in Canada certified to be a Project Walk® provider facility.
Project Walk®, located in Carlsbad, California is the most experienced and successful exercise-based spinal cord injury recovery center in the world.
Our Board of Directors are in the process of obtaining funding that will secure an accessible and inviting location for FSWC to call home. We are planning to have the doors open in early 2010, and with the help of our generous partners and people like you who believe in our cause we will achieve this target.
