The FSWC Children’s Program provides a specific, intensive exercise based program to work with the child as a whole in order to improve motor planning, body awareness, independence and quality of life. This program is designed to help developmentally delayed children make gains in just four weeks that could take up to a year to achieve with conventional therapy or without therapy.
The overall concept of the Children’s Program is to eliminate pathological reflexes and establish new, correct, and functional movement pathways. The Therasuit Method®, Functional Electrical Stimulation, and MRNI are found to be the most effective programs for providing muscle and neurological retraining in children.
By combining these three programs with intensive exercise therapy you are providing a child with the best possible way to succeed.
Acquired functional skills children can develop during our therapy include (but are not limited to) head righting, sitting, rolling, crawling, kneeling, standing, and walking.
